Delivery

COVID-19 UPDATE:


We are offering FREE local (Ely) delivery for all orders over £20, orders below £20 - £3.50 P&P. We will do our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible, but please bear with us during this time. We are also offering FREE UK Postage for all orders over £35, orders below £35 - £3.50 P&P.

This update supercedes what will be our 'normal' delivery options, thank you.


We will send your order within 48 hours of receiving payment, subject to stock availability, and wherever possible all orders received by 3pm will be despatched on the same day. You will receive an email as soon as it's been despatched. Any orders submitted after 12pm on Saturdays will be processed and despatched on the following Monday (or Tuesday in the event of a Bank Holiday).


During the Covid-19 situation we will be using Royal Mail Second Class delivery to lessen the burden on their priority deliveries. Once things settle down we'll start to use Royal Mail First Class and delivery is expected within 1-2 working days. Royal Mail First Class deliveries can, however, take up to 15 working days.

Internationally we deliver via Royal Mail Airmail. Royal Mail Airmail aims to deliver to Western Europe within three working days, Eastern Europe within five working days, and to the rest of the world in five to seven working days, but it can take up to 25 working days. Please note: Royal Mail Airmail is not a tracked or guaranteed service - if you would like to have your order sent via a tracked service please contact us for a quote.

up to 500g: £10.00

500g - 999g: £10.00

1Kg - 1.49Kg: £15.00

Over 2Kg: £35.00

Click and Collect

We offer a free Click and Collect service at our two shops. If you would like to take advantage of this option please select Click and Collect and your chosen store when selecting Delivery options at the checkout. Please allow 48 hours for delivery to your local store. You will receive an email or telephone notification when your order is ready to collect.

Returns

If you have any questions about any of our products please get in touch.

We hope you will be pleased with your order - but if you receive any items damaged please return them to us within 14 days, along with your contact details, proof of purchase and a description of the damage. We will refund or exchange any damaged items - any replacement items will be sent free of charge. We will reimburse any postage costs incurred with returning damaged goods.

We cannot offer returns/refunds on cut fabric and trims, unless damaged during shipping. If you'd like some samples or help with colour matching before placing any orders please let us know.

Please return any damaged goods (and retain your proof postage) to: Sew Much To Do, 7 High Street Passage, Ely, Cambridgeshire CB7 4NB.

Any unused and unopened products can be returned in their original condition and packaging within 14 days for an exchange or Sew Much To Do credit voucher. Any costs associated with an exchange cannot be refunded.

Sewing Machines and Overlockers:

After you have purchased a sewing machine or overlocker from us, please register your machine's warranty with the manufacturer at your earliest convenience - full details are included with the boxed product but if you have any questions please let us know. If you feel your new sewing machine or overlocker is faulty or damaged in any way, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your machine with as much information as possible about the fault. We will be able to advise on the method of return. Please note we are unable to offer returns on unwanted machines.

Workshops:

Regretfully there may be times due to sickness, insufficient numbers or other unforeseen circumstances, where we need to cancel a workshop. If we do make a cancellation you will be advised of any change at the earliest opportunity and receive a full refund of the workshop fee. We will also endeavour to offer you an alternative session if possible and transfer your booking fee accordingly.

If you need to cancel your place on a workshop, please let us know as soon as you can. If you cancel up to 7 days before the workshop we will issue a Sew Much To Do credit voucher for 50% of the workshop fee.
