Join us for our first MAKE-ALONG at Sew Much To Do!
To celebrate the first week of The Great British Yarn Crawl 2024 we are launching a new series of Make-Alongs at the shop - first up is the popular Zick Zack scarf.
This is a much admired scarf in the shop and it's a really good project for those new to knitting who are looking to grow some more confidence... the choice of yarn and the pattern creates a beautiful effect!
So how does a Make Along work? All you need to do is buy the yarn from Sew Much To Do and in dedicated sessions at the shop we'll show you how to make it and be a guiding hand as you complete it...there's no extra teaching fee!!
We don't provide the needles as everyone has their favourites and you may already have some but if you don't and need some help with needles we have plenty of options in the shop.
You should be able to cast on/cast off and be comfortable with the knit stitch for this Make Along.
In the session we will be covering:
Recommended style of cast on/off
A knit stitch refresher
How to carry yarns up a project
Introduce a decreasing stitch K2tog and and increasing stitch KFB
The price for the session includes four balls of Lang Yarns Baby Mille Colori and the pattern ... support and tuition is free!
We'll help get you going and we're then on hand as you make the scarf and have any queries.

Free UK delivery for orders over £80.
Click & Collect is available at our Bury St Edmunds shop. We will call you as soon as your order is ready.
We aim to despatch all orders received by 3pm on the same day, Monday to Saturday. If we have any delays in getting your order out, we will contact you.
When we receive your order, we will email you an order confirmation. We will send a further email once we've sent it to confirm your order is on it's way to you. If we cannot pack/despatch your order due it's size and weight, we will contact you to discuss alternative postage options or cancellation. The vast majority of orders will not be affected by this but very occasionally we do receive orders which exceed our standard postage categories. Thank you for your understanding.
If you need to amend your order, please call us on 01284 755459 or email us at sales@sewmuchtodo.co.uk as soon as possible - we will do all we can to amend your parcel before it is sent.
Any orders received after 2pm on Saturdays will be despatched on the next working day, ie the following Monday or, in the event of a Bank Holiday, the following Tuesday.

Returns
We hope you will be pleased with your order.
However, if you receive any items that are damaged or faulty in any way, please call us within 14 days of receipt on 01284 755459, or email us at sales@sewmuchtodo.co.uk. We will refund or exchange any damaged items - we will reimburse any postage costs incurred with their return and any replacements will be sent free of charge.
Any unwanted goods can be returned unopened, unused and in their original packaging/condition within 14 days for an exchange or Sew Much To Do credit note. Any costs associated with the return/exchange of an unwanted item cannot be refunded.
We cannot offer returns/refunds on cut fabric and trims. If you'd like some help with colour matching before placing any orders please let us know.
